This is your opportunity to create a magical trip full of history and culture as there are so many different places to see and things to do in and around Rajasthan.

The wedding is on the Wednesday and Thursday of the October school half term, which we hope will give people enough time to make a proper holiday out of the trip, finishing with our wedding. Additionally, October is a great time to visit because the Monsoon season will have finished and it will be a reasonable temperature. Not too hot and not too cold, and best of all, low humidity!

Things may change between now and the wedding but if you could give us some idea about what you might want to see or do whilst you are visiting India (using the RSVP form), we will do our best to provide you with information and contacts that can  help you tailor your trip.

The Classic - The Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle is a classic tour around some of North India's most spectacular sights. The route between Delhi,  Agra  and  Jaipur has, for many years, been a veritable 'India 101'. From the hectic pace of Delhi with its bustling markets, magnificent monuments, and colonial past, to Agra and the mesmerizing beauty of the Taj Mahal – truly one of the wonders of the world. Finally, discover why Jaipur is called the "Pink City". For an overview look here.

Adventurous - Ranthambhore National Park

This famous national park is the best place to spot wild tigers in Rajasthan. Comprising 1334 sq km of wild jungle scrub hemmed in by rocky ridges, at its centre is the 10th-century Ranthambhore Fort. Scattered around the fort are ancient temples and mosques, hunting pavilions, crocodile-filled lakes and vine-covered chhatris (burial tombs).

Pictureque - Jodhpur

Mighty Mehrangarh, the muscular fort that towers over the Blue City of Jodhpur, is a magnificent spectacle and an architectural masterpiece. Around Mehrangarh’s base, the old city, a jumble of Brahmin-blue cubes, stretches out to the 10km-long, 16th-century city wall. The Blue City really is blue! Inside is a tangle of winding, glittering, medieval streets, which never seem to lead where you expect them to.
